EXTRA LARGE CERAMIC ADDRESS TILES
Handmade ceramic house number tiles designed for exterior use. Each tile is high-gloss, kiln-fired, and built to withstand sun, rain, and freezing temperatures. Made in New Orleans by Rachael DePauw Pottery, a woman-run small business.
PRICE IS PER INDIVIDUAL TILE. Each tile features one numeral and measures approximately 6 x 10.5 inches. The numerals on the tiles are 3.5 x 6.6”. To order, select a quantity equal to the number of numerals in your address and enter your complete house number in the personalization box.
DESIGN
These tiles feature my Classic Dark design, with a dark glazed background, contrasting numeral, striped border, and hand-carved botanical details.
Each tile is individually made and decorated using the sgraffito technique, a traditional process in which layers of colored clay are carved by hand to reveal the contrasting clay beneath. Every numeral is individually carved and glazed, so no two tiles are exactly alike.
SIZE
Each individual numeral tile measures approximately 6 x 10.5 inches. Multiple tiles are designed to be installed side by side with spacing appropriate to your home.
INSTALLATION
Mounting holes are included by default, and rubber washers are provided. If you prefer adhesive installation, request your tiles without holes at checkout. Professional installation is recommended.
PERSONALIZATION
Enter your complete house number in the personalization box.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• The listed price is for one individual numeral tile.
• Glaze colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and the ceramic firing process.
• Each tile is handmade; slight variations in color, texture, shape, size, and flatness are part of the finished piece and make every tile unique.
• Ceramic tiles can crack if over-tightened during installation. Damage occurring during mounting or installation is not considered a defect of the tile.
• Changes cannot be made once your tiles are in progress.
• Proofs are available upon request after purchase.
• If a proof is not requested and the final design is not a good fit, a remake is available at 50% of the original cost.
