Handmade ceramic address tiles designed for exterior use. Each tile is high-gloss, kiln-fired, and built to withstand sun, rain, and freezing temperatures. Made in New Orleans by Rachael DePauw Pottery, a woman-run small business.
DESIGN
Tiles feature hand-drawn imagery created using the sgraffito technique, a traditional process where layers of colored clay are carved by hand to reveal the contrasting clay beneath. Each piece is individually carved and glazed, making every tile one of a kind. Designs are available in horizontal or vertical orientations.
INSTALLATION
Mounting holes are included by default (rubber washers provided). If you prefer adhesive installation, request your tile without holes at checkout.
PERSONALIZATION
Include your house numbers, orientation preference, and any design notes when ordering.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Pricing includes up to 6 letters or numerals. Additional characters are $15 each (spaces are not counted). Custom fonts, layouts, colors, or other design requests may require an additional custom-design fee. Please contact me before ordering for custom requests.
• Glaze colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and the ceramic firing process.
• Each tile is handmade; slight variations in color, texture, shape, and flatness are part of the finished piece and make every tile unique.
• Professional installation is recommended, especially for masonry or exterior surfaces.
• Ceramic tiles can crack if over-tightened during installation. Damage occurring during mounting or installation is not considered a defect of the tile.
• Changes cannot be made once your tile is in progress.
• Proofs are available upon request after purchase.
• If a proof is not requested and the final design is not a good fit, a remake is available at 50% of the original cost.
